Year: 2018 | Location: San Pedro, NL, Mexico | Typology: Landscape, university campus | Team: TAL - free architecture workshop (Rodrigo Gastélum Garza, Daniela MartÃnez Chapa) in collaboration with Urban Studio (Ernesto MarroquÃn, Juan José Reyna) and Juan Carlos Rivera
Proposal for the northwestern section of the University of Monterrey (UDEM) that seeks to connect the buildings and artifacts built from clear axes that house different landscape strategies. Spaces ranging from natural to civic squares are arranged to create an outdoor atmosphere characteristic of the campus.
Pathways are proposed that allow universal accessibility. The use of endemic vegetation attracts the fauna of the area. The language of the project gives the whole an image and identity that the University deserves.
