The Monument to the Victims of the African Wars is a place of contemplation, memory and awareness on the banks of the Casamance River in Sedhiou, Senegal.
The memorial is made up of several flowing curves that delimit three different spaces: a forum, a patio called "The Tree of Life" -for contemplation and prayer- and a space for temporary exhibits related to the principles of peace and documentation of war damage. .
