We seek to go beyond the sense of conservation and environmental education showing the importance of biodiversity, research and sustainable development within the framework of universal accessibility and inclusion, provoking different experiences through the routes proposed. The links between natural habitats are fundamental, since they provide routes that allow the movement of wildlife, this is especially relevant for two reasons: the socio-cultural and environmental importance of the Chapultepec Forest and the location of this site on the margins of the Forest itself, where the elements of the landscape, together with the corridors and small streams, merge with the hedges and represent a vital link between the existing habitats and the new landscapes that enrich nature and the local character, improving the site.

Likewise , the uniqueness of the ecosystem wealth, flora and fauna of Mexico is recognized, considered one of the mega diverse countries, and specifically its privileged location as isthmus between the Nearctic and neotropical region, in this way, our proposal for The Bosque de Chapultepec Ethnobotanical Garden seeks to become a microcosm to discover, observe, and study the biodiversity of the ecosystems that make up the Valley of Mexico Basin.
